Hawthorn Gift Baskets allows you to order any gift online in complete confidence. The Shopping Cart allows you to check and modify your order before you arrange payment and delivery. You can view your order at any time by clicking on the Cart Contents link located on your right on web page. When you are satisfied with the contents of your shopping basket you can click on Checkout at which point you will need to complete a few easy steps to finalise your order. Your personal details including your credit card number are kept private, and are protected during transmission using SSL encryption, your details are 100% secure. You will know this because a small yellow padlock will appear in the bottom right-hand corner of your browser.

Online payments
All credit and debit payments are processed by either Paypal. You will not be charged any fee for using this payment provider, the amount charged to your card will be exactly the same as the amount due to Hawthorn Gift Baskets as seen during the checkout process.
Telephone payments
If you do not feel happy supplying your card details over the internet you can pay over the phone using all the aforementioned cards. Your details will be processed using Paypal. No card details are retained by Hawthorn Gift Baskets in any form once the payment has been processed.

PayPal
When you choose PayPal as a payment method during checkout you will be taken from the Hawthorn Gift Baskets website to a secure page on the PayPal website. You will then have the choice of two methods of paying for your purchase:
You can pay by credit or debit card. This method is completely free and does not require you to sign up, please visit the PayPal site for more information regarding their security and privacy policies.
You can pay by funds deposited in a PayPal account. This is also completely free and may be favourable if you are still unsure about making card payments over the Internet. Please note this method of payment will require you to complete a short signup process with PayPal and is in no way connected to either Hawthorn Gift Baslets. Cheque or Postal Order
You may pay for your order by Cheque or Postal Order; simply choose "pay by cheque" from the payment methods during your checkout process. Make out all personal cheques or money orders to the value of your total order including any shipping costs and make it payable to Hawthorn Gift Baskets. Send it along with your name, email address and order number (or a printed copy of your order) to:

If a cheque is not received within 14 days of an order being placed please note the order will be cancelled. We will try to contact you by email before this time to see if there is anything we can do to help.
Cash
Due to the unsecured nature of sending cash sums through the post we do not currently accept this as a method of payment. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience it may cause but please feel free to use any other method of payment as stated above.

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE
In the event that you have a complaint please notify us in writing or via email to: sales@hawthorngiftbaskets.co.uk. Any comments you have will be welcomed by us, taken very seriously and treated in the strictest confidence and dealt with immediately. We will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours and give you a timescale for resolving your complaint and keep you informed of progress.
